Final Dissemination Event in Bulgaria within the “The Music Balkan Train for Peace” project
On the 30th of July 2024 the Bulgarian partners co-organized a final dissemination event of “The Music Balkan Train For Peace” project, in Pazardzhik, Bulgaria.
The event started with a welcome speech from the Principal of the Bulgarian school “Dimitar Gachev”.
Then representatives from the Lead partner Association “Centre for Sustainability and Economic Growth” presented realized project activities and achieved project results:
- Intellectual Output 1: Training Course Toolkit Development – With the ultimate aim of strengthening human relations in the European territory, this paper, within the framework of the Erasmus+ Project, “The Music Balkan Train For Peace”, examines and proposes ways in which music and music education can contribute to the development of social synchronisation, the creation of a common European identity and the elimination of phenomena of racism and prejudice within and outside the school context.
- Intellectual Output 2: Policy Brief Recommendation For Stakeholders – Main purpose of the strategic document is to establish a long-term strategic partnership among different types of organization for the improvement of the educational processes in the 3 countries – Bulgaria, Greece, and North Macedonia.
All the participating schools from Bulgaria, Greece, and North Macedonia presented their activities and how they worked with their students on the project topics. The Bulgarian winning team presented their thematic video of a song and a dance which they created in order to fight against contemporary negative phenomena like radicalization, racism and hate speech during the project.
The event concluded with a rewarding ceremony of the winning Bulgarian students‘ team.
