National Dissemination Event in Greece of the Yong Eco Inspectors project
In the period of 19th – 20th of September 2024, the Third Transnational Project Meeting and the Greek National Dissemination Event within the frame of the Young Eco Inspectors project took place in Larissa, Greece.
The partners’ meeting started with a welcome opening speech on the first working day by a representative from NGO AID and a short introduction with a description of the tasks and aims of the event.
Analysis and evaluation of the last activities were carried out. All project participants together made preparations for the final dissemination event in Larissa, Greece. Partners agreed also on the other two Final dissemination events in North Macedonia and Bulgaria. The remaining tasks until the end of the project were discussed and the activities for the final project report were reviewed.
On the second working day, the Mayor of Municipality of Larissa welcomed all partners with an opening speech at the national dissemination event in Greece.
The focus was on the four intellectual outputs of the Young Eco Inspectors project:
- Intellectual Output 1: Development of Handbook for secondary school teachers “How to implement an Activity-based educational concept for tackling of the water and air pollution challenge in STEM-related secondary school subjects”;
- Intellectual Output 2: Development of software solution on internet platform for data collecting and analyzing of water and air pollution;
- Intellectual Output 3: Development of strategic Document with recommendation for improving of the local policies/strategies in tackling of water and air pollution challenges in municipalities of Pazardzhik, Kochani and Larissa;
- Intellectual Output 4: Development of Document for establishing of a long-term transnational strategic partnership among different types of socioeconomical organizations for improvement of educational processes in municipalities of Pazardzhik, Kochani and Larissa.
Each lead partner presented the relevant output that they had developed during the project.
All the participating schools from Bulgaria, Greece, and North Macedonia presented their activities and how they worked with their students on the project topics.
The event concluded with a rewarding ceremony of the winning student’s team from Greece.
