KMOP Policy Center to Host 5th Interregional Seminar in Brussels under the Rural Youth Future project
The Rural Youth Future (RYF) project announces its upcoming 5th Interregional Seminar in Brussels on October 15–16, 2025. The KMOP Policy Center, in collaboration with the Galicia Europa Foundation, will host this two-day event, bringing together regional partners, policymakers, and experts from across Europe to strengthen youth-oriented policies for rural sustainable development.
Strengthening Collaboration and Sharing Policy Insights
The seminar will open with welcoming remarks from Ilaria Ramaglioni, Senior Policy Officer at the Interreg Europe Joint Secretariat, acknowledging the shared commitment of all project’s team to advancing effective rural youth policies across Europe. The seminar will gather key stakeholders and experts in rural policy and youth engagement to exchange innovative approaches, lessons learned, and successful practices that have proven impactful and transferable across European regions. The programme will feature presentations of good practices and discussions highlighting policy improvements, early outcomes, and cross-regional learning. Experts such as Urszula Budzich Tabor, Senior Policy Analyst in the Rural Pact Community Platform. She is also Vice-President of LDnet and board member of the Polish Rural Forum, and Adriana Borsellino, Policy Officer at the Rural Youth Europe Network, will share key insights on empowering rural youth through targeted policy interventions.
Interactive Roundtables and Strategic Outlook
A dedicated Stakeholders’ Roundtable, titled “Making Policy Work: Practical Approaches and Evaluation Strategies,” will provide an opportunity for Rural Youth Future team to share experiences in designing, implementing, and assessing rural youth policies. The session aims to generate actionable recommendations to enhance the long-term impact of regional and national policies.
The meeting will conclude with strategic planning discussions to define next steps in the project’s roadmap and ensure the continued exchange of knowledge among partner regions.
