Save4Waste project was presented at the XVII National Conference of ABEA

The Save4Waste project was presented at the XVII National Conference of ABEA – Association of Bulgarian Energy Agencies. The project, which is co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme, focuses on piloting actions to prevent, manage and reduce food waste and aims to encourage the ability of primary school students from Bulgaria, Greece and North Macedonia to think critically and adopt a proactive attitude.

As part of the XVIIth ABEA Conference taking place in Sofia, in a session dedicated to “Skills for the clean energy transition: existing market gaps and emerging best practices”, the project found wide acceptance and aroused the interest of the attendees.

The conference is held in a hybrid form – attendance and online participation. The main participants are mainly municipal administrations, energy agencies and other stakeholders and the topics covered are related to energy efficiency, renewable energy, environmental protection and energy transition.
