Final Dissemination Event in Bulgaria under the KIDS & LAWS Project

On the 16th of October 2025, the Final Dissemination Event within the frame of the project ”KIDS & LAWS – Educational approach for introduction of basic legal regulative and moral behavior norms for the preschool children”, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, took place in Velingrad, Bulgaria. The event was organized at the Bulgarian pilot kindergarten.

The conference started with a welcome opening speech by a representative from the Association “Centre for Sustainable and Economic Growth” (CSEG) and the Principal of the pilot kindergarten in Bulgaria, “Edelvais”.

Experts from the Bulgarian non-profit organization – Association CSEG, presented the project results, which are two intellectual outputs created during the project, reflecting the joint work, exchange of experience, and good practices between the partners. These are:

1)   Intellectual Output 1:  Handbook for preschool teachers – containing innovative methodologies and approaches for introducing legal, regulatory, and moral norms in preschool age;

2)    Intellectual Output 2: Strategic action plan for long-term transnational partnership – aimed at sustainability and building on cooperation between participating institutions after the end of the project.

The involvement in the project of various educational and socio-economic partners from the three countries – Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Greece, provides an opportunity to apply a multidisciplinary approach and compare different cases and alternative approaches to achieving the project’s objectives, which can and will be used in the future educational process. In this regard, the achievements of the project activities implemented in the kindergarten were demonstrated by the teachers and their children’s team. They presented a brief lesson on developing skills for emotional intelligence and reducing aggression.

As a follow-up to the presentation of the results achieved under the project, another example of the practical work of the Bulgarian kindergarten was presented, dedicated to the topic of safe behavior on the road. The team of students, together with their teacher, demonstrated a scene depicting a violation of traffic rules and laws.

In addition, a presentation was showcased reflecting the collaborative work of the partners from the three countries over the entire duration of the project.

The event concluded with a rewarding ceremony for the winning student’s team from the Bulgarian kindergarten.
